- The snorkeling tour operates in the bays and coves around Marmaris where the seabed is shallow enough to observe clearly from the surface. The water in this part of the Aegean runs through every shade of blue and turquoise, and visibility on a typical summer day allows you to see the bottom at three to four metres without difficulty. The marine life is varied — colourful fish, sea urchins, and occasionally octopus in the rocky sections — and the experience does not require any diving ability or certification.
- Equipment is provided and the crew gives a short safety briefing before each snorkeling stop. This is practical rather than ceremonial — the briefing covers how to clear the mask and snorkel if water enters, how to float without exhausting yourself, and what to do if you are uncomfortable. First-timers usually feel confident within a few minutes. People who have snorkeled before can simply gear up and go in.
- Between stops, the day alternates between swimming, sunbathing on deck, and watching the coastline pass. A BBQ lunch is served onboard while anchored in one of the quieter bays. Non-swimmers are welcome and can enjoy the boat trip without entering the water.
