- The diving sites off Icmeler sit in some of the clearest water on the Turkish Aegean coast. Visibility on a good day reaches eight to ten metres, which is enough to see a full picture of the underwater terrain rather than just the few metres directly below you. The sites include rocky formations, sandy channels, and sections with enough marine life — wrasse, sea bream, octopus, and various crustaceans — to keep a first dive genuinely interesting.
- The tour is built for beginners, which is worth saying clearly: most of the people on the boat have never dived before, and the instructors handle that well. The pre-dive briefing covers everything from equalising ear pressure to what a controlled ascent looks like. You practice floating horizontally before you go deeper. The instructor stays physically close throughout both dives. By the second dive, most people feel considerably more comfortable than they expected.
- Certified divers receive more independence in the water and are directed towards more advanced sites where conditions permit. Non-divers can join the boat as passengers and use the time to snorkel off the side or sunbathe on deck. Underwater photo and video packages are available to purchase after the dives.
