- The paragliding launch point is Babadag Mountain above Fethiye, at an altitude of over 2,000 metres. The flight is tandem — you are strapped to a certified pilot who manages the wing and the landing — so no experience is needed on your part. What you control is how much you want to interact with the flight. Pilots can perform aerial manoeuvres if you ask for them; they can also keep the whole thing calm and smooth if you prefer. The view covers the full sweep of the Blue Lagoon below, which is one of the more recognised natural landmarks in Turkey.
- The Blue Lagoon at Oludeniz gives the flight its backdrop and also features as a standalone stop on the itinerary. After landing, you get two hours of free time to swim in the turquoise inlet, walk along the beach, or simply sit and recover from the adrenaline. The lagoon sits within a national park and the water is genuinely clear — it earns its reputation.
- The full day is a long one. You leave Marmaris early, drive roughly two hours to Fethiye, complete the flight, spend time at the lagoon, have lunch, and drive back. The drive itself passes through varied coastal and mountain scenery. By the time you return to the hotel, you will have covered significant ground and most people find it one of the most memorable days of their holiday.
